Wanted to bring my manager to Hawker Chan but it’s closed on Wednesdays. 😣 We went to the Chinatown Food Market instead and I found this.

Virgin chicken. Hahahaha.

The beancurd is actually the most awesome part. I think they handmade it, so it’s in an unusual round shape. Very smooth like tau huay. 😋😋😋 Best tofu I ever have.

Indonesian kueh as a after-meal dessert. 👍

Tea break at Huggs, had the Chai Latte. It’s good and not too sweet.

Tried the honey sesame chicken at KFC. Yum! I love the sesame fragrance.

Colleagues wanted to have lunch at ka-soh. Apparently, their fish bee hoon is popular.

Eyyyy… quite fishy leh. I’m think I’m quite a fish connoisseur and dI didn’t like the smell. Rain has the same thoughts too.

While colleagues are changing money for their trip, I went to hide at somewhere cool and they are people giving out drinks! Oh yeah! Say yes to freebies!

Took the premium bus home, it’s only $1.10 per trip. Didn’t expect it to be so cheap. 👏 Took me 1 hr 30 mins to get home though, I think I better go back to taking train ba. 😕

Office provided breakfasts today! Here’s a rosemary chicken with cranberry sauce bun from Cedele. Nubbad.

Oh yes! Long time no eat! I think this does not need any intro.

Ah~ The company is going to start providing every week now. Hurray to free healthy snack!

I’m going to do a lot of self-learning from now on, since I’m workless.

Walked around and explore the area for a bit, since I need to wait for TC. There’s actually a Musical Box Musuem, I should visit one day.

Helen is getting married today! I’m so happy for her.

Church weddings take so long though. 😅 We were famished by the time the ceremony was done. The food was catered was halal, think they forgot to also provide food for people who can’t take spicy food. LOL. Serene couldn’t take any of the meat dishes.

There are also kueh kuehs, tutu kueh cart and an ice cream cart. I definitely would want an ice cream cart at my own wedding too. Heh heh. Too bad the tutu kueh cart has to close on time, so there wasn’t much time to get it, even though Helen’s wedding ceremony overrun. I didn’t manage to get any.

Had dinner at the new concept hawker at Pasir Ris, level 2 is where you can find the more ‘hipster’ foods. I went to the stall with the shortest queue because I was very hungry, didn’t have much at the wedding.

Wanted to get the Chicken and Mushroom Veloute from The Stew House because it looks like a very good soothing bowl of thick chicken broth for the cold weather but it was out of stock. (I later found out Ah Long got the last bowl. 🙄)

Ordered the Chicken Tika Stew instead which is a tad too spicy but delicious nonetheless.

Tifa has been shedding and this is the result after I’ve been removing her fur. 😂 She looks like a skunk now.

Lunch at Northpoint City before we head over to our house to check on the renovation progress.

There’s a promo going on at Jinjja Chicken until 28 Feb, $9.90 for 12 wings, usual price is $14.90. Added on the tteokbokki fries ($4.50) and a shikhye drink ($3.30), a traditional Korean beverage made with barley malt powder and rice.

It’s good and I think the food is quite on par with Four Fingers and I really like the drink.

The kitchen carpentry is starting to come in, can’t wait to start cooking meals in here! 🤤

Saw the milk tea flavoured water in Cheers. It really tastes like milk tea leh! What sorcery is this?

Headed to Sarah’s place. Our main objective is to see Bernice, the newly adopted cat. Haha! She so fun to play with and I found a way to ‘walk’ her. 😂

Company has moved to a new office. Don’t know why we need to celebrate the moved.

I don’t like the new office though, I got drenched while walking over from the train station. Why the lack of shelters in CBD area??? 😭😭😭

Tried the mala xiang guo at Suntec’s Food Republic. It’s not nice but cheap though. We have around 4 kinds of meat and it totaled to $17.90 but I won’t be back la. Lol. Not fragrant. Quite salty.

It’s not going to be easy saying goodbye to this cave, the perfect seat for introverts like me. I’m going to miss this corner very much.

The most important factors for a digital product; fast, sticky and engaging. I was in my happiest moment when working on this digital product. Never thought that everything would change so soon. 😔

One last mala xiang guo with colleagues, then we will never get to eat this during lunch time again.

Met up with our ex-director at PS Cafe, so funny. He don’t dare to get updates for his job interview. We still have to help draft his question to the employer.

We shared a Double Chocolate Blackout Cake. This is damn sinful. OMG. I love love love it. 😍 Must share though, if not it will get a little too jelak.

Visiting Northpoint City for the first time since it’s re-opening. It was very crowded, almost couldn’t find a place to settle our dinner. Luckily we managed to find a seat at Malaysia Chiak.

The char kway teow was quite good, I was surprised because it’s difficult to find good Malaysian Char Kway Teow here but it’s not the thin kway teow though.

Nasi lemak has hits and misses. It was alright in general but the fried chicken is disappointing.

Oh yes la! Got Gong Cha in Northpoint.

Traveled a little further for lunch today. Had the triple egg udon at Tamoya Udon! A little sad because I think the mentaiko has cream or butter, so my udon got milky taste. It’s ok, at least I have my favourite kakiage.

[Update] I just checked, it has tobiko, mentaiko, tamago and butter. No wonder it has the milky taste. 😓

Met up for dinner with an ex-colleague at Xiao Ya Tou. We ordered quite a lot. Heh heh. If we could stomach more, we could have ordered even more. Not my first time here, so you can refer back to my past post for more info in regards to the food.
